Syngrity Transformation Solutions respects your rights to privacy. This document sets forth how we will use your data and personal information provided to us, as part of our commitment to protecting and respecting personal information.

Procedure

Data Collection
The data that we collect from you may include information:

  • you provide when you request our goods and services
  • you and your employees provide when they complete any of our online assessments
  • you provide when we require information for the completion of a project
  • you provide when any employee completes a survey that we use for research purposes

Use of Data
Information provided to us will be used to:

  • provide you with goods and services that you request from us
  • to provide, on request, customised computer-generated reports from completion of our psychometric assessment questionnaires, including (but not limited to) our psychometric assessment tools, 360 degree and organizational surveys and other third party assessments via our partners, The Talent Enterprise’s, online portal, Lighthouse
  • to personalise our service to you, to ensure that the information collected benefits our clients and its employees in the most effective manner
  • for technical administration of our sites including notifying you about changes to our service

We may receive personal information about you from third party sources (including our clients who ask us to process your personal data on their behalf), but only where we have verified that these third parties either have your consent or are otherwise legally permitted or required to disclose your personal information to us.

We also may use data collected through completion of our psychometric assessment questionnaires, for research purposes to produce statistics of the type described in our proposals / technical product manuals, e.g. psychometric norms and validity data. This data may only used for research purposes and only in anonymised and aggregated form. No individual is identified or identifiable from such data.

Data Anonymity
Every client and or individual has rights as to how their personal data is handled, and we recognise the need to treat all such data in an appropriate and lawful manner, according to the classification of such data. Personal data will not be kept longer than is necessary for the legitimate purpose for which it is collected.

At times, we may have to disclose your personal information to any competent law enforcement body, regulatory, government agency, court or other third party where we believe disclosure is necessary (i) as a matter of applicable law or regulation, (ii) to exercise, establish or defend our legal rights, or (iii) to protect your vital interests or those of any other person.

We commit to retaining employee information, including psychometric assessment reports, personal information and information regarding our assessment tools for 18 months after the completion of the project, after which we remove all personal information from our database.

Any research data retained thereafter (in order to produce statistics of the type described in our technical product manuals, e.g. psychometric norms and validity data) no longer constitutes personal data as it is anonymised and aggregated on our systems prior to research use, at which point no individual is identified or identifiable from such data.

This also means, that we will not be able to provide any additional information about the employee 18 months after the assessments have been completed. Any additional information / reports needed about an employee after 18 months will require the individual to re-take the assessments.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Information (EEA users only)
If you are a user from the European Economic Area, our legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described above will depend on the personal information concerned and the specific context in which we collect it.

However, we will normally collect personal information from you only where we have your consent to do so, or where we need the personal information to perform a contract with you, or from our clients who ask us to process your personal data on their behalf.

Third Party Sharing of Information
Depending on the requirements of the project and only on request of the client, we may use assessment tools that are provided by other publishers in addition to those provided by Syngrity Transformation Solutions. In such cases, Syngrity Transformation Solutions shall do so only by way of a written agreement with the third party, which imposes the same obligations on the third party that are imposed on Syngrity.

Use of Cookies
We use only functional cookies and similar tracking technology (collectively “Cookies”) to collect and use personal information about you on our Lighthouse portal.

International Data Transfers
Your personal information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the country in which you are resident. These countries may have data protection laws that are different to the laws of your country.

However, we have taken appropriate safeguards to require that your personal information will remain protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and Syngrity Transformation’s Security Whitepaper.

Payment Records
All credit/debit card details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties. The Talent Enterprise will never pass any debit/credit card details to any third parties. The Talent Enterprise takes appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security including through the operation of a variety of hardware and software methodologies. However, (www.syngrity.com) cannot guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed online. Syngrity Transformation Solutions is not responsible for the privacy policies of third party websites to which it links. If you provide any information to such third parties different rules regarding the collection and use of your personal information may apply. You should contact these entities directly if you have any questions about their use of the information that they collect.

Change to Data Privacy Policies and Our Terms and Conditions
Our Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet new requirements and standards of privacy and to reflect our terms and conditions of sale. Therefore, you are encouraged to frequently visit these sections to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day on which they are posted.
